Pashka is a pyramid-shaped sweet holiday dish prepared for Easter in Orthodox countries.
The classic pasha is made in a very unique wooden mold with carved decorations.
The Church Slavonic initials “XB” mean “Hristos voskrese!” are cut into the sides of the product. (‘Christ is risen!’), which transfer to the sides of the food when the mold is opened.
The floral motif on the pashka uniform represents the beginning of spring and new life.
This form is made of glulam-birch plywood.
