Independence Day in our Estonia!!!

Independence Day has always been more than just a calendar holiday for us. It's a feeling. Silence in the morning. Blue-black-white on the window. We like to take time off on this day. We set the table a little more festively – even if it's just our family. The table is served with sprat sandwiches, herring, black bread, maybe some special cheese or a jar of onion jam. And always those slightly nostalgic dishes that seem to tell stories about Estonian homes. Estonian crafts and food are a very personal topic. Every pair of woolen socks, every handmade item, every jar of jam carries care and time. It's not mass production – it's someone's skill, dedication and heart. And that's what we especially value on Independence Day. We like to think that when we choose local, we keep something much bigger than just a product alive. We keep skills, stories and the entrepreneurship of small Estonia alive. Independence is not just a historical event – it is an everyday opportunity to make our own choices. To support our people. To preserve our language and customs. Today we are grateful. For this land, its flavors and its people. Happy anniversary of the Republic of Estonia! 🇪🇪
