The purpose of the book is to introduce the types and varieties of life yarn introduced to the Estonian SSR and cultivated elsewhere. An overview of their biology, systematics, propagation, cultivation, breeding, pests and diseases is given. The life threads of over 200 species, variants, forms and varieties are characterized.
The book is intended for gardening and landscaping workers, all gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers.
